My 2 hours with Marilyn

Saw My Week with Marliyn on Saturday and really enjoyed it. Most of all for the beautiful art direction and set design. Here are a few screen grabs from the flick. Michelle Williams did a phenomenal job being Marilyn, whom by the way, was craaazzyy. It’s definitely worth seeing and really interesting to see what she was like behind the scenes. If you haven’t already seen the trailor, check it out here.

Leopard print pink wheeled ROLLERSKAAATES? Yep, these are perfect for me. Anyone want to buy them for me for x-mas? They are only $199 at Urban Outfitters! Yea, didn’t think so. I dig this photo though from the catalog.

Beauty Batch One

I recently did a photoshoot with my best friend Nicole and now I’m in the process of editing. Below are 2 from the first batch I’ve completed. I’ve been photographing her since I was 7 years old, so it’s a pretty natural process for us ;) It’s pretty obvious why I love photographing her. GORG-EOUS. Nicole recently started her own blog with 2 other spectacular gals called Three Chic. Check it out!

And ps- I’ve decided it’s time for CloudPink to get a facelift, so stay tuned for some new looks and formats I’ll be trying out!

Santa Hat Brownies

These are the most adorable brownie treats I’ve ever seen! They would surely be a hit at any holiday party. Here’s how to make them.

My latest photography assignment was shooting 2 subjects in the studio. I decided to shoot my classmates Tom and Sharky as a painter and a masterpiece. Once again we only have a short time to shoot (15 mins), so I spent most of the time getting the lighting right for the one shot I wanted (above). Check out my other selects on my photo blog!

I saw this owl in a store on Smith Street today. I refrained from buying it because I’m reeeeally tying to only spend money on x-mas presents, but I kind of think I need him. I know he’d look GREAT in my living room. What do you think?

Christmas tree is up and glowing! Stephanie and I have decided to keep it classy this year with only ornaments of a white nature. We still have some work to do, but it already makes us so happy :) Look at all of those presents! (non of which are from me) Stephanie is really on top of things. She bought her wrapping paper at Paper Source in Brooklyn.

Omg I want this cat! One day, when my allergies magically disappear I will get a cat just like this and name her CYNTHIA.

My internet is being 1996 slow right now, so I can’t upload my Thanksgiving pictures to facebook or flickr. Boo. Above is a glimpse of some of the magic we enjoyed at my Aunt & Uncle’s house on Friday night. This year we had a buffet style Thanksgiving, or as we called it boo-ffet. Thanks for hosting another forgettable… ahem.. unforgettable night ;) Hang tight for the pictures.

Ta-da! Pie mission accomplished (well sort of). On Friday, I followed Martha’s instructions, and made this Strawberry Icebox Pie. When it came time to make the glaze, I think I should have let it thicken a bit more. On the car ride over to my Aunt and Uncle’s, the red sticky juice seeped over the pie dish and spilled down my coat… like bigtime. I care way more about fashion than food, so I pretty seriously attempted to throw it out the window - thank god my mom was there to stop me. The good news is that the pie wounds were cleaned up quickly and when it came time to eat, it was enjoyed.
